Any size Canvas or Canvas Boards should have at least 2-3 pieces for any class
Pallet – Something to put the paint on, I recommend Pallet Paper or ceramic Pallet (both can be fond at Michale’s)
Cover Up- something you can get paint on, Acrylics do not wash off.
Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid (Satin) Not required, but I highly recommend to get the most out of your class.
Brushes:
Variety of soft acrylic brushes (bristle whites are not as good, synthetics are better)
Should have several brushes in a variety of sizes, when purchasing brushes remember the nicer the brush usually the longer it will last and the better it will paint.
Acrylic Paint- For all of our classes you must have acrylic paint, please no craft paint
You should have a variety of paints, each student needs to have at least one of each of the following colors:
Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple and White from these we can mix several others.
Jen’s Acrylic Paint Colors
Must Have Color
Titanium White
There are so many colors to choose from, this is a list of some of my favorites. Always open the tube and look at the paint before you purchase it, the color on the outside of the tube is not always the same as the color inside. Brands that I suggest are Liquitex, Holbine and Golden.
