Join Jen or Phyllis is a fun painting class where everything is provided and you are sure to go home with a finished painting. Choose from either acrylics with Jen or Watercolors with Phyllis as part of your Groupon deal.  Once you have selected your class please call us at 805-643-6400 to reserve your seat.

Please note when scheduling a class, all cancellations or class changes must be made at least 7 days in advance. Any cancellation less than 7 days will not be rescheduled. All Groupons will expire by the end of May, please select your class and call us.  After the expiration date the amount you paid for the Groupon can be applied to any of our classes.

Acrylics with Jen - Whimsical Trees

 Learn to paint a whimsical tree with a variety of colors and shapes. Each tree will be unique either with a realistic approach or a more fanciful feeling. This is a fun way to let loose and let the paint flow through your work as well as play with balancing a unique background with a striking foreground.

The Beauty of an Elegant Iris

We’ll paint a dramatic, oversized iris using a fluid style and just enough detail to make the painting exciting.  This amazing flower has a wide range of color possibilities, unusual petals and majestic poses.   There will be many drawings and photos to guide you as create the shadows & contours of the fluffy rolled edges, the glorious color mixes and two totally different backgrounds.

Abstracts- thinking outside the box Acrylic Class with Jen Livia

Want to learn how to compose an abstract painting full of life without having to follow rules? We will take your image and reduce the shapes into an interesting abstract painting full of movement, color and light. You fill find your own abstract style as we learn how to move and layer acrylic paint. We will look at how to combine colors in a dynamic way to create paintings with the WOW factor. Discover the luminous qualities of Acrylic paint as layer colors with washes and add variation with dry brush techniques.
