Samara Iodice

Nature and animal photographer, Samara Iodice, has been actively photographing shelter and rescue dogs since she was drawn in by a professional photo taken of her own rescue dog, Dublin. While scrolling through all the bland shelter photos on the adoption website, her eyes fixated on a photo of Dublin wearing a huge pink bow. She realized, in that moment, the power photographs have in getting pets adopted, and she was hooked - not only on Dublin, but on pet photography, in general. See Spot Pose was born from this passion and supports the mission of creating dramatic studio portraits of companion animals. Through See Spot Pose, Samara offers custom pet portraits, as well as her own line of pet photo products, many involving adoptable dogs available through local rescue
organizations. She also finds ways to educate others on issues like pet homelessness, overpopulation, and spay and neuter. And, she continues to photograph as many shelter pets as she can, whenever she can.
