“My tapestries are a process of many steps.  The concept usually starts while Dan and I are traveling.  As he scours a spot for a photo, I will often sketch the scene.  Once home, the next step is dyeing the fabric.  I then cut multiple pieces of fabric and sew each piece adding color and dimension.  The finished framed piece is a labor of Dan’s expertise when he takes my tapestry and somehow sguares it up for framing.”

“Each tapestry is original and represents what I SEE.  The part that is most fun for me is comparing what I SEE and what Dan SEES as represented by his photographs.  It often makes me laugh to know that we have been to the same spot!”
